[Apply on Honda Motor’s careers site →](https://careers.honda.com/us/en/job/AHMAHMUS12983EXTERNALENUS/Asst-Mgr-Accounting) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Honda Motor](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/honda-motor/) / Asst Mgr, Accounting ## Job description ### Legal Entity American Honda Motor Co., Inc. ### Business Unit BU Finance Department: DEP Auto Revenue and Cost Division: DIV Auto FP&A Work Location: Torrance - Main Campus Location Shift: 1st Workstyle: Remote Eligible up to 20% Career Level: 5 Job Grade: Exempt-4 Salary Range: $96,800.00 - $145,200.00 ### Job Purpose Lead the accounting and financial reporting activities (including monthly/quarterly/annual financial/SOX audits) of AHM Automobile Business Segment in accordance with IFRS/US GAAP/SOX as well as collaborating with North American Honda subsidiaries for automobile business performance.. ### Key Accountabilities - Manage and review AHM financial reporting and account analysis for Automobile Segments with a main focus on revenue, sales incentive, and royalty areas Coordinate AHM quarterly/annual financial audit (including SOX compliance) Prepare/present account analysis from business performance perspectives to management - Implement new accounting standards/modify existing reporting in accordance with IFRS/write accounting memos for new transactions drawing accounting treatment conclusions based on appropriate accounting guidance, working closely with AHM and other NA entities in the rapidly changing Honda re-org activities Develop/Train staff by transferring knowledge/providing challenging work/asking questions for process improvements Qualifications, Experience, and Skills - Bachelor's degree in Accounting/finance or relate field Five plus years of Public Accounting experience or seven plus years of Private Accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing and/or distribution company Technical Accounting analyses under IFRS/US GAAP and application Management/Supervising experience Experience in a multinational company is a plus Good communication skills (verbal/written) - Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint) SAP knowledge is a plus CPA Preferred What differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
