## Job description

### Position Purpose

Oversees, maintains, and repairs equipment as well as other facility structures in a complex, warehouse environment.

### Key Responsibilities

50% Troubleshoots and repairs electric lift equipment, conveyor systems, as well as technical, mechanical hydraulic and pheumatic issues where needed.
- Understands and troubleshoots conveyor operating system logic 20%
- Performs preventative maintenance as well as necessary modifications on electric lift equipment, conveyor systems and buildings. 10%
- Provides equipment status report, including details of unusual maintenance problems. 10%
- Follows all safety guidelines established by manufacturer, Home Depot, or government agencies.

Adheres to all safety codes and OSHA standards 10% Maintains safe and clean working environment, performing daily cleanup of work areas Direct Manager/Direct Reports: This position reports to Area Supervisor. This position has 0 direct reports.

### Travel Requirements

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

### Physical Requirements

Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).

### Working Conditions

Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes which cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.

### Minimum Qualifications

Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

### Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on conveyor systems Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends, evenings, and holidays Minimum Education: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a trade school degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
