## Job description

The opportunity Step into a high-impact leadership role as an Operations Manager at Hitachi Energy, where innovation meets operational excellence. In this role, you will lead all manufacturing operations within a transformer production facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery aligned with customer expectations. This is an exciting opportunity to influence plant performance through lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

You will work closely with teams across Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and EHS to drive sustainable results and elevate operational standards. Beyond day-to-day operations, you will play a key role in developing people, strengthening capabilities, and fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and growth. If you are passionate about building high-performing teams and driving meaningful improvements, this role offers the platform to make a lasting impact in a dynamic and evolving manufacturing environment.

### How you’ll make an impact
- Lead daily manufacturing operations aligned with the ITM Management System
- Deliver production targets across safety, quality, and delivery commitments
- Optimize use of labor, materials, equipment, and manufacturing resources
- Promote a zero-incident safety culture using HOP principles
- Lead risk assessments, safety audits, and preventive action initiatives
- Drive quality excellence and ensure compliance with customer and industry standards Champion continuous improvement through tools such as Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and A3
- Develop and coach teams to build capability and support long-term growth Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

### Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- 12+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations leadership
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in a production environment
