In this role you will work both operationally in the production and strategically with key initiatives to improve the Health and Safety culture within the business unit. As an H&S Specialist, your main responsibility will be to ensure support to our operations that they are compliant with all internal and external policies and regulations with focus on health and safety. ### How you’ll make an impact Develops and implement policies and practices to identify/mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace.; Provides advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to employee health and safety; Investigates accidents and liaises with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence; Organizes and participates in the risk assessment process; Develops and conducts training in his own area of expertise; Develops, implements, monitors and reviews all documents and data related to Safety and Health at work; Conducts regular inspections on the workplace to verify compliance to the health and safety rules and regulations; Ensures compliance with international standards in ISO 45001 systems and all other applicable standards. ### Your background University degree in H&S or in similar field; Relevant experience as HSE professional; Advanced use of MS Office (MS Excell, MS, Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook); Experience with ERP system (SAP is an advantage); Advanced English skills (both written and verbal); Excellent communication and organizational skills, detail-oriented team member.
