This includes product integration, testing, cybersecurity, and certification. The India Development Centre is situated in Chennai and Bangalore. IDC collaborates with the R&D and Research centers of Hitachi Energy, which are spread across more than 15 locations throughout 12 countries. In the past 20 years, IDC has secured more than 200 international papers and 150+ patents. ### Mission Statement Advancing a sustainable energy future for all. As the pioneering technology leader, we collaborate with customers and partners to enable a sustainable energy future – for today's generations and those to come. ### How you’ll make an impact In this role as manager for Digital Technologies, you will be a part of a committed team that operates in the forefront of technology. You will lead a highly knowledgeable team of Engineers and specialist, ensure development and retention. Manage operational tasks for the team, ensure high quality output from the team. Be engaged in creating and driving inspiring team’s vision connected with organization’s vision & strategy. You will take ownership of developing the team’s competence and work processes. Actively encourage collaboration with the receiving organizations as well as with Global team. Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Living Hitachi Energy’s core values safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. ### Your background You hold at least Engineering Degree preferably in relevant technology field e.g. Software Systems, Power Systems, Power Electronics and having knowledge in HVAC / HVDC / FACTS technology is an advantage As a person you have a passion for people and technology, you are strong in decision making and have the right inner drive to take on full responsibility for your scope and deliver on time in a dynamic environment. Prior experience in R&D, people management are preferable. Sound understanding of R&D activities and so in power system business/project. Since we work in an international environment you need to master spoken and written English.
