Our Service offerings empower customers & partners to holistically manage the asset lifecycle—from start-of-life (e.g., Install & Commission), through services designed to strengthen operational-life (e.g., Upgrade, Repair & Extend), to end-of-life activities (e.g., Replace & Decommission). How you'll make an impact - You will be responsible for electrical design of power transformer order and tender designs in compliance with the market and sales strategy to meet the market needs. - You will coordinate design activities within a worldwide factories network. - You will influence specification at the tender and pre-tender stage through conceptual discussions. - You will lead the technical communications, discussions and decisions with customers covering the whole business chain of value including tendering, sales, project execution and after sales services. - You will support local and global organization on S&M, SCM, quality activities and cost savings initiatives. - You will develop innovative designs to meet all requirements for functionality, performance, reliability, serviceability, cost and manufacturability of transformer products. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete electrical, mechanical, simulation, prototyping, and testing work. - You will provide punctual and effective technical support to factories, salespeople and customers. - You will lead transformer project execution work. - You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. - Living Hitachi Energy's core values safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. Your background 1. Bachelor’s or master's degree in Electric Engineering with relevant experiences. 2. 1-3 years of experience working in electrical design for power transformers. 3. Familiar with FEA knowledge, electromagnetism and thermal simulation.
