Partner with Supply Chain to evaluate make-versus-buy decisions and support sourcing strategies. Develop manufacturing plans, routing strategies, and scheduling priorities to maximize efficiency and shop utilization. Determine material requirements and stock sizes to support fabrication and machining operations. Monitor machine and fabrication shop capacity and provide short- and long-term planning recommendations. Schedule work based on machine capabilities, workforce skills, and production priorities. Coordinate resources to support both planned production and urgent customer requirements. Provide visibility into manufacturing constraints, delivery status, and production performance. Support decisions regarding in-house versus outsourced manufacturing activities. Maintain accurate work orders, production schedules, and manufacturing data. Ensure documentation and production information are organized and accessible to shop personnel. Track and communicate on-time delivery performance and key manufacturing metrics. Maintain current machine and fabrication shop dashboards and performance reporting. ### Note This list of responsibilities is inclusive; however, it is intended to be a guideline for activities. ### What You'll Bring Associate degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience (calculated as two years of relevant work experience for each year of academic study). Experience with production planning, capacity management, and manufacturing operations in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. APICS, APA, or related planning/scheduling certification is a plus. Current or prior JR Automation experience, or experience within the automation, custom machinery, or advanced manufacturing industry, is strongly preferred.
