When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Barista, you’re not just providing food and drink service – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. The Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort is looking for its next Barista (Part-Time) to join their Food and Beverage team! ### The ideal candidate for this role will possess ⦁ A minimum of three (3) months of customer service experience. ⦁ A minimum of three (3) months of barista experience. ⦁ A valid Food Safety Certification and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification. ⦁ The ability to adapt, stay organized, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. ⦁ Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays. ⦁ Previous fine dining experience is a plus. ⦁ Most importantly, a genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences. ## Responsibilities ### Here's what you'll do during a typical day Delight our guests: Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to all guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make their experience special Craft quality beverages: Prepare coffee, tea, and specialty drinks according to standardized recipes and guest preferences. ### Master the menu Learn the details of all menu items and specials so you can help guests and answer their questions with confidence Serve with efficiency and care: Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and complete orders promptly – attention to detail is key! ### Comply with regulatory standards Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being ## Qualifications What It Takes to Make the Stay At Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member: A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality.
