## Job description

As a Director of Security, and facility safety – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

## Responsibilities

### Here's what you'll do during a typical day

Lead safety and security operations: Oversee all safety and security functions, including ensuring OSHA compliance, promoting safe work practices, and managing department systems, budgets, and policies.

### Oversee safety training
- Lead the coordination and administration of safety training programs, including CPR, fire and life safety, workplace violence prevention, and driver training
- Ensure property safety: Direct security patrols of hotel premises to identify and address safety risks, security threats, and undesirable conditions
- Lead investigations: Oversee inquiries into accidents, thefts, property loss, and unlawful activities
- Direct emergency responses: Lead responses to emergencies, including fires, medical incidents, and security threats
- Liaise with law enforcement: Serve as the primary contact for federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies on security-related matters
- Cultivate a high-performing team: Drive engagement and retention through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs
