The Waldorf Astoria New York is seeking Assistant In-Room Dining Manager to unveil a new era of luxury which embodies the spirit of New York City. In this role, you will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of In-Room Dining, reporting to the In-Room Dining Manager and overseeing 30 Team Members. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of In-Room Dining leadership experience in a Forbes rated environment. As an Assistant In-Room Dining Manager, you’re not just overseeing the daily operations of in-room dining service – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. ## Responsibilities ### Here's what you'll do during a typical day - Supervise room service operations: Oversee and participate in daily room service operations, including ensuring guest service standards, product quality, and compliance with operational policies and procedures - Deliver exceptional guest experiences: Monitor product and service quality, assess guest satisfaction, address issues, and make improvements to enhance the room service experience - Guide the team through each shift: Provide hands-on supervision, assist with scheduling, and mentor room service team members to foster a positive and productive work environment - Contribute to revenue growth: Assist with implementing marketing initiatives and up-selling techniques to promote room service sales and maximize profitability Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing ## Qualifications What It Takes to Make the Stay At Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member: A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality.
