This is a rare opportunity to lead the launch of Signia Jaipur, the first Signia by Hilton hotel in Asia Pacific and a landmark addition to Hilton’s rapidly expanding luxury portfolio in India. The 293-room hotel, including 2 restaurants and 2 bars will represent the regional debut of one of Hilton’s newest and most innovative luxury brands, offering a unique platform to shape the guest experience, culture, commercial strategy, and market positioning from the ground up. You are responsible for developing a commercial strategy covering all segments and channels to maximize total revenue and profit performance, as well as market share penetration of the hotel. As a Commercial Director, you’re not just leading commercial strategy across multiple segments and revenue streams – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. ## Responsibilities ### Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day - Own commercial strategy and execution: Develop and implement integrated commercial strategies across all revenue streams — including Group, Conference, and Events (GCE), Rooms, Food and Beverage, Leisure, and Spa — to drive top-line performance and market share growth Maximize revenue and profitability: Partner with General Managers and Finance to ensure commercial decisions support revenue goals, optimize cost of sales, and deliver profit and margin targets - Lead pricing and forecasting strategy: Oversee revenue management practices, including pricing, rate strategies, demand forecasting, and business reviews, to optimize revenue across all segments Align sales and marketing efforts: Coordinate on-property and regional sales, marketing, eCommerce, and public relations activities to support brand positioning and drive demand - Adapt to market dynamics: Monitor trends, assess competitive landscape, and adjust commercial strategies to stay ahead in evolving market conditions - Strengthen stakeholder relationships: Build trusted relationships with owners, operators, Hilton corporate teams, and external partners to align goals and create long-term commercial value - Cultivate a high-performing team: Drive engagement and retention through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs ## Qualifications At Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member: A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality. In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience leading and managing sales or commercial teams. Proven Commercial Director experience in luxury / upper-upscale hotels Strong experience in managing pre-opening luxury hotels Proven experience presenting strategic plans to senior executives and stakeholder groups. Strong background in cross-functional collaboration within matrixed environments. Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data to inform strategic and tactical decisions. Track record of identifying and evaluating new business opportunities. Experience in multi-complex hotel or travel industry operations.
