As a Room Service Order Taker / Cashier, you’re not just processing in-room dining orders – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. ## Responsibilities ### Here's what you'll do during a typical day Delight our guests: Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to all guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make their experience special - Answer calls promptly: Respond to Room Service telephones and guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner - Take orders with care: Capture food and beverage orders and input them into the point-of-sale system without errors – attention to detail is key! ### Master the menu Learn the details of all menu items, promotions, and specials so you can help guests and answer their questions with confidence Upsell Offerings: Suggest and promote food and beverage items such as sides, desserts, drinks, and special promotions Process payments with accuracy: Reconcile checks, including verifying check totals and gratuity disbursement, and handle cash according to accounting guidelines ## Qualifications What It Takes to Make the Stay At Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member: A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality.
