Open up opportunities with HPE. ### Job Description Job Family Definition: ACX platform is part of RIS BU, and is responsible for driving technology leadership in the routing, access, and aggregation router developments for next-generation Metro and 5G networks, deployed in some of the world’s largest service providers, data centers, enterprise, and metro ethernet networks. ### What You'll Do You will be responsible for product development of cutting edge platforms for next gen Access and Aggregation Deployments, Metro, Mobile Backhaul with JunOS or Junos EVO software architecture. In addition to the development activity, you are required to work closely with product management, system and solution test teams to ensure products/solutions delivered are of the highest quality. You will be required to work closely with Juniper Technical Assistance Team for providing engineering assistance in supporting critical customer escalations for customer deployments. ### What You Need To Bring BS/MS in CS/CE or similar field, with a minimum of 6 years of software development experience Proficient in C, C++ programming and debugging L2 protocols like STP, ERPS, 802.1x, jflow, Sflow,, Layer 2 bridging/switching. Experienced in Unix/Linux systems with proficiency in user-space processes, kernel, socket programming, inter-process communication Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in teams Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills Internet Protocols: TCP/UDP/IPv4/IPv6 Domain Knowledge: Service Provider Technologies, Access and Aggregation Deployments, Metro, Mobile Backhaul.
