[Apply on Heineken’s careers site →](https://theheinekencompany-rmk.jobs.hr.cloud.sap/Ethiopia/job/Bedele-Warehouse-Coordinator/1448449333/) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Heineken](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/heineken/) / Warehouse Coordinator ## Job description ### Position Title Warehouse Coordinator Location: Bedele Application Closing Date: October 21, 2026 ### Job Purpose The Warehouse coordinator is responsible to execute goods movement and storage in the warehouse in a safe and efficient way based on the directions of the Warehouse team leader, performs a variety of receiving, stocking activities; stores and distributes chemicals and raw materials; maintain inventory and stock records; and perform related work as required. He/she performs shipping and receiving, deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting chemical warehouse transactions, maintaining records, and overseeing storage of surplus chemical inventory and property for the Brewery. ### Key Responsibilities Safety Act in accordance with the safety regulations. Report accidents, incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions and behaviours. Stimulate an open environment where safety is put first, by sharing safety concerns, acting as an example and addressing each other on safety. Lead by example on safety and sustainability Provide feedback to co-workers in case of unsafe or unsustainable behaviour. Warehouse planning Plan available resources (staff, space and equipment) for warehousing activities in line requirements to achieve an efficient and cost-effective operation. Record warehouse performance data on KPIs (eg. conformance to plan, overtime, etc.) in required systems (SAP, BCS, etc.). Apply continuous improvement methodology to warehouse planning activities. Warehouse process execution Perform activities according to received instruction and applicable procedures. Apply 5S in workplace and perform tasks and activities accordingly. Goods movement Move goods from the right source to the right destination, in the right time and quantity within a certain area of responsibility, for example (un)loading, line feed, line discharge, etc. Pick mixed pallets, handle blocked pallets and market returns and scrap materials according to the procedures and instructions. Inventory management Correctly register goods movements and scrapping/write-off (via scanner if applicable). Systematically perform stock counts and report deviations. Ensure labels are correctly printed and placed as well as location identifiers are correctly placed and maintained. Conduct spot checks on warehouse security procedures. Storage & stock quality assurance/ management Perform cleaning and housekeeping activities. Regularly inspect the outer packaging quality of incoming and outgoing goods. Quickly separate quality defective goods in stock and ensure that they are not picked. RPM handling Receive, sort, store, repair or scrap and issue RPM. Control empty pockets. Assets & equipment management Safely operate and control material handling equipment like FLTs. Only operate equipment in case of in possession of a relevant certificate/valid license. Inspect before start shift. Report issues on time. Follows assets and equipment maintenance schedule as per regulations applicable (supplier, local, Heineken, etc.). TPM & Continuous Improvement Record data to contribute to DCS. Initiates actions to improve in safety, warehousing processes, assets, stock quality and/or inventory management Participates in TPM improvement activities. Organization & People management Actively be part of the team. We only win together.
