These responsibilities include the preparation, review and analysis of monthly financial reports, including the delivery of reports both internally and at a corporate level. They will communicate financials results to management and provide analysis as necessary. This position will also ensure compliance with internal controls (SOX) and maintenance of required documentation. ### Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform and manage close of monthly financials. This includes the review and preparation of month-end schedules and supporting documents. Provide analysis, information and support to management concerning financial data and metrics. Ensures that accounting policies, procedures and internal controls are followed throughout the organization. Development and supervision of accounting staff. Manage and prepare annual budget and quarterly reforecasts. Review actual financial results compared to budget and provide analysis to management. Responsible for financial accuracy within the ERP system as well as control of user access. Perform reserve calculations (excess/obsolete, WIP overtime, bad debt, etc.) leveraging data from multiple sources using complex excel formulas. Coordinate and assist with annual physical inventory. Provide required documentation and results. Is responsible for the control and administration of cash flow, payables, and receivables. All other duties as specified by the company. ### Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Exhibits honest and ethical behavior. Demonstrate excellent analytical and reasoning skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks. Advanced Experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word ## Qualifications ### Education / Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related; five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. ### Other Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ability to effectively present information to management, customers or the general public. ### Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. ### Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. ### Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Is frequently required to talk or listen. Is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 10 pounds. Works in moderate noise levels.
