## Job description

### Overview

The Import/Export Coordinator supports the Customer Service and Logistics Department by overseeing day-to-day import and export activities of CGR (CG Railway LLC) to ensure compliant movements and customer satisfaction.

### CGR Rail-Ferry | CG Railway LLC Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee the import and export processes of CGR shipments. Manifest shipments in the ACE interface. Maintain email notices and communications with customers and customs brokers pertaining to shipments. Ensure compliance with U.S. and international trade regulations, including customs regulations. Maintain accurate and complete records of all import/export transactions in accordance with record retention requirements Monitor and track domestic and international shipments; proactively identify an d resolve shipping delays or customs clearance issues.

Field incoming customer requests via email and phone with a sense of urgency and attention to detail. Prepare documentation related to dangerous goods. Assist with audits, inquiries, or reviews related to shipping and trade compliance. Coordinate cross-department efforts for proper invoicing Performs other duties as assigned by the manager to support business and operational needs Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS High school diploma or GED Bilingual – Spanish / English Five years of relevant experience working in import/export documentation.

Experience coordinating with freight forwarders and customs brokers Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) Flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Must be motivated, detail-oriented and able to work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision.
