The individual will be responsible for performing analysis over and documenting conclusions for complex accounting fact patterns, working on special projects, and working with individuals throughout the company to ensure proper accounting in accordance with US GAAP. ### Key Responsibilities Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Assessing complex contracts with customers to determine appropriate accounting under ASC 606. Assessing leases to determine appropriate accounting under ASC 842. Supporting monthly close activities. Working on special projects, as needed. Routinely working with multiple departments and functions across the organization. ### Responsibilities Detail-oriented. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis techniques. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Efficient time management and organizational skills. Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. ### Qualifications Required: Bachelors Degree in Accounting. CPA license. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Three or more years of relevant accounting experience. Experience with and detailed knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Detailed knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 842. Experience with writing technical accounting memoranda. ### Preferred Experience and detailed knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations. Proficiency with Oracle EBS. Proficiency with mainframe applications.
