Disassembly and troubleshooting of same. Perform fitting, scraping, grinding, and honing. Install and torque fasteners. Precision measurement of parts. Completion of hardcopy and electronic documentation. Perform hydrostatic and air testing of components. We are looking for people who want to learn and grow within our Inside Machinist Department as we continue to build the most advanced submarines. ### Responsibilities Proficiency in shop mathematics Ability to work independently or as part of a team. ### Qualifications Required: High school education or GED or 2+ years relevant technical experience - 5+ years of previous assembly experience - Ability to read mechanical assembly and detail drawings Available for any shift Preferred: Proficiency with precision measuring tools is desired.
