Impact of the Role General Profile Requires working knowledge and experience in own job discipline and broadens capabilities Continues to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers - Performs a range of assignments related to job discipline - Uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situations - Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment ### Essential Functions Analyzes changes of product design to determine the effect on the end product design and function and determines and prepares documentation necessary for change. Coordinates with customers and manufacturers to determine a process for change reporting. Reviews released engineering change data and changes documenting activities to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies. Supports quality, engineering, technology, production, or research departments by collecting and maintaining blueprints, specifications, schematics, or other forms of technical documentation. Ensures documents are retained and destroyed in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Implements processes for document approval, distribution, modification, and destruction. May utilize an electronic document/record management system. Ability to read contracts and understand requirements of documentation ### Required Qualifications Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience ### Preferred Qualifications Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree Discipline/Major: Quality or Business Administration preferred Knowledge, skills & abilities: Change/Version Control. Change Request Management. Configuration Management. Release Engineering. Writing Procedures & Documentation. Physical Requirements Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
