Surrounded by committed, loyal colleagues, if you can dare to bring your ingenuity and desire to make an impact, you’ll be exposed to game-changing, diverse projects that truly allow you to play your part in the energy transition. ### What we offer - Working in an international team which is part of global Engineering HVDC Centre of Excel-lence within Grid Integration based in Stafford. - A key role in a dynamic, international working environment with a large degree of flexibility of work agreements - Competitive benefits, and great development opportunities Job Profile Summary: As a Technical Leader, you will be a part of “Low/Medium Voltage, Protection and Control&Automation” reporting directly to the Senior Engineering Manager, and interaction with all HVDC disciplines (Tendering, Sourcing, manufacturing, Installation and commissioning,..,..) to support design and delivery of LV Secondary scope for all HVDC projects around the world. ### LV Secondary Engineering scope covers - System architecture and deliverables definition - Hardware design - Control and Automation - Protection - This role includes developing team talents and competencies, support Engineering process application and improvement, provide technical guidance, mentoring, drive consistent design practices and common global processes for projects implementation and provide technical solutions that meet project delivery and Tender objectives. ### Job Description Roles and Responsibilities - Responsible for leading LV references solution and supporting projects team on key subjects. This includes, among others, the following activities: - Requirement & Design - Engineering Design Process & Review - Reviewing and approving key technical documents - Customer interface and training - Support the business Tendering, Operations, Contractual and After Sales needs. - Provide technical guidance that influences outcomes to other people. - Play a key role in engineering design reviews and technical leadership, identifying potential project risks and technical weaknesses and proposing safe, reliable and compliant solutions. - Execute and provide guidance for the analysis/evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product/project requirements. - Responsible to define strategies and roadmap for development of the team. - Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues. - Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions.
