As a Production Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for managing supplier related escaping defects, driving responsibility discussions and will be the primary contact person between suppliers and the manufacturing department. Dealing with Supplier Deviation requests and working closely with engineering to make the necessary dispositions. What you’ll do Primary interface between suppliers (Hungary Site Related) and manufacturing Monitoring materials, services (OSP) & processes (external & internal) Supplier`s quality performance monitoring, support development & management - Conduct audits at supplier site (compliance, process, product, capacity), request and validate CAs - Manage supplier related escaping defects (NCR), responsibility discussion, request and validate CAs, trend monitoring & follow up, Manage supplier deviation request (SDR), make disposition with the engineering team, request and validate CAs - Support qualification (provide information, manage qualification) and work closely with Design Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering team Supplier responsibility negotiations (VBB), support buyers in charge back negotiations - Participate in make or buy analysis, cost–out and DMP projects, develop internal quality processes Coordination of suppliers at site (3rd party inspections, supplier rework / repair) Regular reporting of supplier performances (NCR & SDR performances, CA statuses, NCOs) to management What you will bring: BSc or MSc degree (mechanical and/or electrical engineer) Some active engineering experience (technical experience) preferably in quality Excellent Hungarian and English skills (verbal & written) ### Desired Characteristics Good interpersonal, communication & presentation skills Good negotiations skills - Strong project management skills, ability to prioritize - Ability to deliver results & meet deadlines, ability to learn quickly Taking initiatives & initiating changes - Process, data & documentation focus Flexible working hours & ability to travel Basic financial knowledge - Knowledge of Hungarian suppliers (mechanical industry) Quality and/or sourcing background (engineering, ISO, QA/QC) At our Veresegyház site we manufacture and repair gas turbine components, and assemble small and medium-sized gas engine and gas turbine power plants.
