He/she will also be responsible to provide technical support to design engineers, supply chain and site installation teams related to generator winding topics. Key responsibilities/essential functions include: - Deliver design work packages for generator windings using technical guidelines and reference projects - Provide technical support to factories, supply chain and site teams on winding topics and insulation systems during the entire lifecycle of the projects. - Lead cost reduction and improvement actions related to generator windings. - Participate to validation of winding design tools updates. - Participate to design review meetings with other engineers, functions and consulting Engineers. - Support other engineers on topics related to generator winding design, testing specifications and customer discussions. ### Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited university or college. - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hydro generator winding design and insulation systems. ### Preferred Qualifications/Characteristics - Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-locational environment; - Ability to travel - Knowledge of CAD tools - Bilingual (French and English) - Good analytical skills - Team player, positive, willingness to learn & adapt to business needs - Pro-activeness, sense of urgency, autonomy. - Established communication and leadership skills; Additional Information GE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. ### Bonus eligibility discretionary annual bonus.
