Typically requires a deep understanding of the characteristics of the physical device being controlled, the realtime functions it is expected to perform and the ability to design, develop, implement, and test the logic and software required to realize the realtime functionality. Usually tailored for products and services across various P&Ls. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance. Roles and Responsibilities Ensures the quality of software products by creating and applying Embedded Software (Firmware) quality tests to a feature, set of features, or whole feature area. Works independently and contributes to the immediate team or to other teams across businesses. Responsible for setting up electrical equipment for tests. Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy. In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area. Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions. A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills. Provides informal guidance to new team members ### Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least Minimum of 4 years of experience in a technical or leadership role. 2 years of experience with C# and C++ code development and/or experience with Reqnroll BDD framework (or experience testing complex controls systems). The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. ### Bonus eligibility discretionary annual bonus.
