Summary Are you ready to elevate your career in renewable energy? Silverton Wind Farm located near Broken Hill in NSW, generates up to 199 MW of renewable energy, to power over 98,000 homes annually, with 58 GE 3.4-130 Turbines. Help to build a cleaner, greener future for communities across Australia! You’ll be working at the forefront of renewable energy, maintaining and troubleshooting wind turbines at some of the most exciting and innovative sites in the country.

No two days are the same, you’ll be climbing turbines, solving real-world technical challenges, and helping to keep Australia’s wind power turning.

### Essential Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on turbines and site infrastructure Follow GE manuals, specifications, and work instructions to perform assigned tasks and inspections
- Conduct maintenance, fault finding, and high voltage switching operations as required
- Participate in annual maintenance, retrofit works, major component exchanges, and fault finding Use GE software tools to maintain reports and submit technical queries
- Ensure compliance with JSA, LOTO, EHS policies, and report issues promptly
- Make a conformance or non-conformance decision upon completion of inspections
- Report errors, violations, incidents, or problems immediately using GE reporting systems
- Embrace a 37.5-hour work week, with opportunities for overtime as approved and participate in on-call rosters for after-hours or weekend work as directed Qualifications, Requirements & Competencies Qualified Electrician
- Proficient in fault finding (electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment)
- Proficient in using computer systems and tools for monitoring work and managing documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English A current unrestricted driver's license
- Ability to complete physically demanding tasks at heights, comfortable with heights (you’ll be climbing turbines, so you’ve got to have a head for heights and a love for fresh air!) A commitment to the highest safety standards, high performance, continuous improvement and delivering the right solutions Independent, solutions-focused, and well-organized in managing tasks Open to travel to other sites as required
