We're looking for a proven and ambitious Account Executive to join our established London City team. This is an opportunity to become part of a highly regarded business that specialises in complex commercial risks, delivering tailored insurance and risk management solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients across a wide range of sectors. Our London City office is a strategic hub within Gallagher, providing direct access to specialist teams, market-leading insurers and decision-makers across the London Market. You'll be supported by an experienced infrastructure including dedicated broking teams, claims specialists, risk management experts and placement professionals, enabling you to focus on developing client relationships and delivering exceptional outcomes. The team works closely with clients to design and deliver complex, tailored insurance programmes, providing trusted advice and long-term strategic support. How you'll make an impact Manage and retain a portfolio of complex commercial clients, providing strategic insurance and risk management advice. Lead renewal negotiations, gathering detailed risk information and presenting tailored solutions that meet client objectives. Build and develop strong relationships with clients, insurers and key market stakeholders. Work closely with specialist broking teams to deliver innovative placement strategies and optimal outcomes for clients. Identify opportunities to grow and develop your portfolio through cross-selling, referrals and new business activity. Deliver a high-touch client service proposition through regular client engagement, review meetings and strategic planning discussions. Support clients with claims, risk management and wider business challenges by leveraging Gallagher's specialist expertise. Handle account queries and credit control matters promptly, escalating issues where appropriate. Represent Gallagher professionally within the market and contribute to the continued growth and success of the London City business. ### About You A proven track record as an Account Executive or Account Director managing complex commercial insurance programmes. Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and services across multiple classes of business. Experience operating within the London Market, with a solid understanding of insurer relationships, placement strategies and market dynamics. Existing relationships within the insurer and broker community would be advantageous. Working towards or holding a Chartered Insurance Institute qualification (Cert CII, Dip CII or ACII). Exceptional client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills. A consultative approach, with the ability to understand client challenges and deliver tailored solutions. Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to service excellence.
