## Job description

### Position Summary

The Manager (Sports Event Programming) is a pivotal role created to elevate the planning and execution of sports events at our organization. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that all sports events are metiulously organized and delivered with excellence, maximizing audience engagement and satisfaction. The Manager will be responsible for development comprehensive event plans, coordinating with internal BUs and external partners, and managing event budgets to ensure cost-effective execution without compromizing quality.

Additionally this position will focus on maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sports federations, rights-holders and government bodies, fo facilitate smooth event operations and compliance with regulations. Primary Responsibility
- Oversee the development and implementation of sports event plans, ensuring all aspects of the event are well-coordinated and executed
- Work closely with various internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure seamless event delivery
- Implement event schedules and programming strategies to maximize audience engagement and satisfaction
- Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and execution without compromising on quality
- Maintain strong relationships with sports federations, rights-holders, government bodies, partners, and other stakeholders
- Analyze event performance and feedback to continuously improve future events
- Ensure all events comply with relevant regulations and standards

### Requirements
- Bachelor’s or above degree in Sports, Sports Management or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sports event management or a similar role
- Passionate for sports and a good understanding of global sports landscape
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and achieve ambitious goals
- Proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English languages, Cantonese is a plus
