## Job description

### Position Summary

Fully in charge of laboratory operation for conducting food microbial tests internally and participate in the regular CNAS audit, therefore, a professional laboratory technician is required. He/She is responsible for the organization, management and development of laboratory, and the maintenance of the efficiency in operation. Primary Responsibility Manage and monitor the operation of laboratory testing
- Preview CNAS document and participate the audit
- Develop and review microbiological testing menu
- Perform and oversee daily microbiological tests
- Evaluates test performance, provide feedback and initiate recommendations regarding laboratory procedures and testing issues
- Analyze test results, provide recommendations, prepare test report within schedule and documented
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
- Order laboratory chemicals and consumables, and perform monthly stock taking
- Update and review microbiological guidelines
- Conduct microbial test training to team member
- Undertake any other duties assigned

### Requirements
- Diploma holder or above in Food Science /Chemistry/Biotechnology or other related disciplines
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in microbiological laboratory testing
- Commercial laboratory working experience is preferred
- Knowledge and experience in ISO/IEC 17025 is a must
- Good command of both spoken and written in English and Chinese
- Independent, well-organized and efficient
- Scheduled 5-day per week, Operational staff
