### What You Will Do

Highly skilled mechanic who safely perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair of light duty vehicles and equipment which may include quarter to one ton pickup trucks, skid steers, fork lifts, boom trucks, lube trucks or other light duty equipment.
- Performs diagnostic, replacement and repairs on, but not limited to: Engines, transmissions and transaxles, manual drive train and axles, suspension, steering, brakes, clutches, AC units and electric motors
- Prioritize and make decisions regarding equipment repair as needed
- Performs mechanical and lubrication preventative maintenance to include: Oil and lube service, coolant system flush, transmissions services, filter and gasket checks, checking of water pumps, thermostats, belts, radiator hoses and clutch fans
- Train and mentor other employees
- Perform welding, such as: carbon arc, and Mig May operate equipment such as: forklifts, cranes, and small mobile equipment
- Act as a Fill-in Supervisor as needed Responsible for maintaining work orders, a clean and safe work area and performing work area inspections
- Perform other duties as required What You Bring To Freeport

### Minimum Qualifications

Two (2) years of experience in light duty mechanical/maintenance or a combination of education and experience in industrial mechanical repair and maintenance Knowledge of general to advanced electrical Ability to read schematics

### What We Offer

You The estimated pay range for this role is currently $27.00 - $36.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.

What We Require Candidates may be required to pass a medical exam. Candidates must pass all required training and/or testing. Employees may be required to work a non-standard schedule, which may include shift work (other than day shift) at a 24/7, 365-day operation.
