About the Department The Data Engineering team builds and enables enterprise data platforms that power analytics, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence-driven insights across the organization. Data engineers, analytics professionals, and business stakeholders collaborate to deliver scalable data products, cloud lakehouse capabilities, and self-service analytics solutions. Team members work on modern technologies, solve complex data challenges, and help drive enterprise-wide data innovation. How You Will Add Value? ### Core Responsibilities You will lead and mentor data engineering teams. You will drive technical excellence and delivery outcomes. You will own end-to-end delivery of strategic data initiatives. You will partner with stakeholders to define scalable solutions. You will evaluate and adopt modern engineering practices. You will strengthen platform capabilities and standards. You will guide technical direction across data programs. Strategic Responsibilities You will architect enterprise-scale data pipelines. You will design batch and streaming ingestion frameworks. You will establish scalable lakehouse storage standards. You will optimize performance, resiliency, and cost efficiency. You will drive governance across platform architectures. You will improve operational reliability and maintainability. Team & Collaboration You will lead enterprise data modeling initiatives. You will oversee platform performance optimization. You will manage orchestration and data delivery processes. You will collaborate across business and technology teams. You will integrate artificial intelligence-enabled development tools. You will support automation, testing, and engineering productivity. You will enable scalable and trusted data delivery. What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role? ### Experience 10+ years of data engineering experience. 3+ years of people or technical leadership experience. Experience scaling enterprise data platforms. Experience delivering batch and near real-time pipelines. Experience working within cloud-native environments. Experience leading cross-functional initiatives. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. ### Technical Skills Advanced Structured Query Language expertise. Strong data modeling and optimization skills. Strong Python, Spark, and PySpark knowledge. Experience with Snowflake and lakehouse architectures. Experience with Amazon Web Services services. Knowledge of governance, quality, and lifecycle management. Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices. Soft Skills Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities. Excellent communication skills. Effective stakeholder management skills. Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
