Working across both workshop and field environments, you’ll bring your technical expertise, strong diagnostic skills and hands-on approach to maintaining critical Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME). This is an opportunity to work alongside an experienced team in a fast-paced mining environment while contributing to safe, reliable and productive operations. ### Key Responsibilities - Perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance on CAT 793 haul trucks and associated ### Heavy Mobile Equipment - Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues and complete repairs efficiently to maximise equipment availability Carry out workshop and pit-based maintenance duties as required - Complete inspections and preventative maintenance to support equipment reliability and performance - Collaborate with Mobile Maintenance teams to achieve maintenance targets and schedule compliance - Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with Fortescue policies, procedures and site standards ### Qualifications and Experience Australian recognised Trade Certificate as a Heavy Duty Fitter or Diesel Mechanic - Demonstrated experience maintaining Heavy Mobile Equipment within a mining environment Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing CAT 793 haul trucks is essential - Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving capabilities - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative maintenance team Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship and Fortescue’s values ### About Us Be part of something big.
