The IPTS Cooling Purchasing Ford Champ will support the procurement and supplier management activities for vehicle cooling and thermal management components. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in automotive purchasing while contributing to the successful development and launch of current and future vehicle programs. ## Responsibilities ### What you´ll do Support sourcing and cost management activities for IPTS Cooling commodities to achieve program and business objectives. Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and suppliers to support product development, launch readiness, and issue resolution. Analyze supplier quotations, cost breakdowns, and market intelligence to support sourcing recommendations and negotiations. Lead and track action items with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of commitments, milestones, and launch requirements. Communicate effectively with global teams and suppliers in English, preparing presentations, reports, and executive-ready summaries. ## Qualifications ### What you´ll need Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) is required to effectively communicate with global teams, suppliers, and stakeholders. Active student from any of the last 2 semesters of Supply Chain Management, Business, International Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and support business decisions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Self-motivated team player with excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills in a fast-paced environment. Ford of Mexico is committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
