### Job description

Resumen de descripción de puesto: Reporting to the Procurement Supervisor and working closely with the support staff, the Procurement Officer will be responsible for effective procurement activities across the Cobre Panama site in accordance with Group policies and procedures, as well as the adherence to all relevant statutory requirements.

### Propósito del cargo

Responsable de la gestión de compras end to end de servicios con proveedores locales, desde la solicitud hasta el pago. El rol implica fortalecer relaciones estratégicas, identificar oportunidades de negocio, liderar procesos de negociación y garantizar una comunicación efectiva entre las áreas internas, proveedores y el equipo de Compras de servicios. Asimismo, gestionar operaciones a través de sistemas ERP y promover relaciones sostenibles y de valor.

### Responsabilidades clave
- Implementar y dar seguimiento a la estrategia de compras locales, en coordinación con Compras y Asuntos Comunitarios.
- Gestionar y mantener actualizada la base de datos de proveedores locales, incluyendo sus capacidades y oportunidades de negocio.
- Actuar como enlace entre proveedores, equipo de Compras y áreas internas, asegurando una comunicación fluida.
- Identificar oportunidades para proveedores locales y acompañarlos en su incorporación y participación en procesos de compra.
- Brindar orientación en procesos de registro, licitación y gestión de pagos.

### Requisitos

o Título universitario en Administración de Empresas, Supply Chain, Desarrollo Comunitario o carrera afín.
- Inglés Intermedio (conversacional).
