## Job description

### Overview

The Area Executive is responsible for driving the financial performance, growth, and profitability of the Bank’s Community West Region, encompassing markets in Idaho and Wyoming. This leader provides strategic direction and sales leadership for branch banking teams, while fostering strong partnerships across the organization. The Area Executive develops and executes regional business and sales strategies to achieve the Bank’s growth, revenue, client acquisition, and profitability objectives.

This position may be based in any First Citizens office location within the Idaho and Wyoming footprint.

### Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties & Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management: Lead and develop banking leaders and teams to achieve market goals. Drive accountability, provide coaching and feedback, and foster a high-performance culture focused on client outcomes, associate engagement, and talent development. Client Experience & Growth Drive revenue growth and relationship expansion by promoting a client-focused sales culture. Partner across retail, business banking, commercial banking, and corporate teams to identify opportunities, deepen relationships, and achieve business objectives.

Risk & Operations Management Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, Bank policies, and risk management standards. Oversee operational performance, maintain a strong control environment, and balance growth objectives with sound risk management practices.

### Position Specific Skills

Sales planning and forecasting Business development Credit administration Local board management Networking and building centers of influence Risk Identification Risk Mitigation Minimum Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 10 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 14 years' experience in Commercial, Business or Retail Banking.
