## Job description

Paralegal, Licensing- Hybrid ID 2026-3300 Job Locations US-VA-Virginia Beach | US Category Legal Type Full Time Overview The Paralegal Licensing position is responsible for maintaining mortgage servicing and business licenses across multiple states and jurisdictions. This role involves preparing and submitting license applications, conducting legal and regulatory research, tracking compliance deadlines, and performing audits to ensure adherence to state licensing laws.

### Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Legal team members to research, acquire, and maintain mortgage servicing and business licenses across multiple states and jurisdictions following established procedures.
- Prepare and submit license applications and compliance reports accurately, timely, and confidentially.
- Monitor deadlines and proactively follow up on outstanding tasks and items without prompting.
- Maintain and update licensing trackers, training aids, and other documents as needed.
- Coordinate with company executives and licensed staff to complete reports and applications.
- Conduct research using various platforms, including NMLS, Westlaw, AllRegs, and state regulatory websites.
