## Job description

Senior Remediation Specialist- Remote ID 2026-3337 Job Locations US Category Mortgage Servicing Type Full Time Overview The Senior Remediation Specialist is responsible for managing complex loan remediation cases from initiation to resolution, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines. This role requires advanced problem-solving skills to analyze intricate loan scenarios, develop effective solutions, and drive cases to completion with minimal supervision.

The specialist serves as a key liaison, engaging in strategic communication with business leaders and stakeholders to secure alignment and transparency throughout the remediation process.

### Responsibilities
- Manage the loan remediation pipeline by tracking, prioritizing, and updating all assigned cases to ensure accurate status reporting and timely resolution of complex remediation scenarios.
- Collect, verify, and image all required documentation in compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines.
- Perform timely follow-ups with internal teams and third-party vendors to obtain necessary documentation and remediate outstanding issues.
- Validate borrower information, loan terms, and remediation actions to ensure accuracy prior to finalizing updates or decisions.
- Review loan files for completeness and adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
