Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Representative. ### Schedule M-F 6am-4pm (OT likely) ### The PERKS of working for Ferguson Competitive compensation Hourly bonus potential Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life Insurance, Wellness Programs, etc.) 401(K) Retirement Savings - Plan with company match Paid time off (vacation, sick, personal, holiday, and parental leave) Employee Assistance Programs Associate discounts Community involvement opportunities Opportunities for growth and advancement both professionally and financially Responsibilities: Provides advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs Processing orders via order management system - Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up - Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised - Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas - Maintain a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) - Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs Qualifications: Customer service or counter sales experience is preferred Background or experience in the trades, construction, manufacturing, or related mechanical work is preferred Prior forklift experience is preferred Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Basic knowledge of fire protection or plumbing products is preferred General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise from warehouse to customer's vehicles General math skills to allow for cash accounting An ability to learn is a must have!
