Ensures that the district fleet meets both corporate and regulatory standards for appearance and operating conditions, while ensuring that fleet needs are satisfied on a timely basis in a cost-effective manner. ### Essential Functions Maintains a state of safe and efficient operations in compliance with all FedEx policies and procedures and Federal, State, and local laws. Coordinates the business planning, operations analysis, and cost control for the district. Perform other duties as assigned. ### Minimum Education Associate's degree/equivalent. ### Minimum Experience Five (5) years experience in preventative maintenance operations on automotive, heavy truck, or heavy equipment plus one (1) year of supervisory/ management experience in the last five (5) years. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of troubleshooting and diagnosing automotive, heavy truck, and heavy equipment problems. Basic management skills. Good organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
