## Job description

Operate modern Sandvik and CAT underground mining equipment Play a critical role supporting underground production and mine services Residential or FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville and Cairns – 8/6/7/7 Roster Who we are We’re a bold team with a bright future; and we’re looking for people who want to be part of it. Evolution Mining is a premier global gold company operating six mines across Australia and Canada. We’re transforming mines and uplifting careers.

We’ve extended the mine life of our Ernest Henry Operations to 2040 and doubled its ore reserves. We took our Cowal Gold Operations underground in just seven years. We’re transforming our Red Lake Operations, restoring it as a premier Canadian gold mine. That kind of ambition creates careers, not just jobs. When we asked our people what they enjoy most about working at Evolution, two things came up across every site: career growth and the quality of the people.

Here, you’ll work alongside people who care, who push one another to be better, with leaders who are there to support you. What’s the opportunity? As a Loader Operator, you'll be at the heart of our underground production operation, playing a critical role in keeping people, equipment and materials moving safely and efficiently. Working as part of a close-knit underground team, you'll operate modern underground equipment, maintain key access ways and support a range of production activities that directly contribute to the success of Ernest Henry Operations.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working underground, taking ownership of their equipment and being part of a team that takes pride in delivering results safely.

### In this role, you’ll
- Operate underground loaders and associated equipment to support daily production activities
- Maintain underground roadways and declines to ensure safe and efficient access across the mine
- Transport materials and support key site services throughout the operation
- Complete pre-start inspections, identify equipment defects and contribute to equipment reliability
- Support other underground activities, including service crew, water truck and relief duties where trained and competent.

Why Ernest Henry Operations? Ernest Henry is a cornerstone asset in our portfolio. It has high-quality equipment, high standards and great management team. With a mine life to 2040 and doubled ore reserves, there are countless opportunities for people to evolve and give their career an uplift. The future here is bright; you could be part of it. What we offer you We support, develop and reward you to ensure you have a bright future.

### Here’s how we back that up

Referral bonuses Attractive parental leave benefits (18 weeks) Recognition program Study assistance Discounted health insurance Flexible work options – we know flexibility looks different for everyone Attractive rosters Competitive live-local incentives and allowances for employees who choose to live in Cloncurry. Does this sound like you? You're a safety-focused operator who enjoys working in a fast-paced underground environment and understands the importance of teamwork, communication and operational excellence.

You take pride in your equipment, work proactively to identify hazards and consistently deliver high-quality work that contributes to safe and efficient production outcomes.

### Ideally, you’ll also bring

Experience operating underground loaders and other heavy underground mining equipment A current Manual Driver's Licence, with a QSEC Card highly regarded Strong awareness of underground safety, hazard identification and risk management The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment. Ready to create your career highlight with us? As our name suggests, change and evolution are in our DNA.

If you’d like to work with a team that turns challenges into opportunities and delivers on its bold ambitions, we want to hear from you. Find out more about us at our Careers site. Bold team. Bright future.
