The assignments will vary but will help build analytical skills by gaining knowledge of tools and business processes to help identify financial related problems and develop appropriate solutions. ### JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES - Works with the Corporate Planning team to forecast earnings and key financial metrics and perform key financial analysis. - Updates the financial model and provides key monthly analyses to explain results versus forecasted expectations as needed. - Suggests and implements continuous process improvements to benefit greater team. - Communicates issues to managers and teammates and internal/external customers in a clear fashion. - Communicates with other departments to gather information about Entergy's businesses and transactions. - Communicates with subject matter experts across the company to better understand any risk with assumptions and forecast. - Responsible for Ad hoc analysis and other tasks as required. ### Education Requirements - Seeking an individual pursuing a bachelors (Junior or Senior) or Master’s degree with concentration in Accounting, Finance, or similar program with strong analytical skills - Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher is required (on a 4.0 scale).
