[Apply on Emerson Electric’s careers site →](https://hdjq.fa.us2.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/CX_1/job/26010151) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Emerson Electric](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/emerson-electric/) / Sales and Application Engineering Co-op ## Job description In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Independently support the global sales network on customer opportunities, including: Valve sizing and selection across the Flow - Controls portfolio Application and product recommendations Technical support on requests for proposal (RFQs) and project bids - Manage assigned RFQs end-to-end, including: Develop technical solutions - Prepare and review quotations - Recommend pricing strategy - Collaborate with global sales teams, product engineering, product marketing, and technical experts to create alignment between customer requirements and product solutions - Troubleshoot field installation problems and specify custom valve solutions - Provide training and host Marshalltown Innovation Center site visits for sales representatives and customers - Analyze and develop market studies on industry trends For This Role, You Will Need: Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills ### Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher Junior or Senior Standing Our Culture & Commitment to You: At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
