Our interns are a key talent pipeline for full-time employment opportunities after graduation at our many locations. We are looking for a motivated finance intern to join our global Professional Tools finance team. The intern will work closely with the Director FP&A and global Professional Tools finance team to assist with financial analysis, long term planning and performance reporting to help drive data-based decision making across the organization. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: - Assist in preparing monthly reporting including P&L, variance analysis and other dashboards - Assist in long term financial planning Profit - Plan by gathering inputs, validating assumptions and updating financial models - Support cross-departmental initiatives (pricing actions, cost-savings programs, headcount plans, etc.) - Assist with other projects as assigned Who You Are: You are proactive and readily accept new challenges. You work cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives. You plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with the organizational goals. You interpret and apply understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions. You deliver messages in a clear, compelling, and concise manner. ### For This Role, You Will Need Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in finance or related field from an accredited college or university - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office - Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and collaboration skills - Strong intellectual curiosity, with a clear passion for finance and readiness to learn from real-world work ### Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Finance or Accounting 2.75 cumulative GPA or higher Previous co-op/intern experience Our Culture & Commitment to You: At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
