Select, design or recommend tools, fixtures, and equipment. Develop manufacturing processes and procedures to reduce problems and cost. Recommend design changes to increase quality or reduce problems and costs. Solve production problems and improve process capabilities. Participate in the presentation of test results and design reviews. Interact with other functional groups, vendors, or customers. Participate in the administration of technical procedures. Initiate and implement routine engineering change authorizations. Support capacity model and lean initiatives. May participate in lean six sigma improvement teams. May interact with teammates in numerous global locations May be required to travel to other Emerson factories in the United States, China, Romania, and Mexico Who You Are: You balance planning with actions. You research initiatives and try new approaches. You seek ways to improve processes, from small tweaks to complete re-engineering. You are open to change and continue to learn and experience new opportunities. You make new connections and build relationships in other areas and teams.
