## Job description

Supplier Quality Engineer (Factory Support) We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Supplier Quality Engineer to support our factory operations by managing raw material (mechanical focus with minor electronic components) quality issues encountered during operations. This role is vital in driving supplier engagement, ensuring production continuity through collaboration with Production, Engineering, IQC/Warehouse, and suppliers to ensure timely containment, investigation, corrective action, and prevention of supplier-related quality issues.

### Key Responsibilities

Act as the key liaison between internal teams and suppliers for quality issues related to mechanical and electronic component parts, managing issue containment, investigation, disposition, corrective actions and follow-ups. Understand internal customer needs and proactively address issues by analyzing requirements and recommending solutions.

Independently lead projects or feature changes that positively impact operational efficiency and material/product quality. May collaborate with R&D and suppliers during NPI activities, engineering changes, and quality improvement projects. Align and support global and regional commodity strategies. Serve as a technical resource across cross-functional teams; provide technical support when needed. Mentor and guide junior engineers or technicians.
