[Apply on Emerson Electric’s careers site →](https://hdjq.fa.us2.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/CX_1/job/26008164) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Emerson Electric](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/emerson-electric/) / Lab Operations Engineer Co op ## Job description In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: - Perform analyses to determine desired maintenance parts inventory for critical operational equipment Interface with equipment vendors to obtain equipment service recommendations, parts lists, and quotations - Oversee database development and management projects such as parts inventory, pipe database, and warehouse inventory management - Assist with Lab operation improvement projects targeting safety, functionality, and maintenance. ### Who You Are You define issues and map out a process. You manage uncertainty with confidence. You learn to streamline processes and cut out redundancy. ### For This Role, You Will Need Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related technical discipline Legal authorization to work in the United States Sophomore standing or above - Ability to work full-time during the co-op term - Ability to read and understand technical drawings ### Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering GPA of 2.5 or higher - Proficient written and verbal communication - Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new technology Basic understanding of electronic instrumentation/equipment as well as knowledge of analog and digital communication signals Programming skills with industrial automation software such as DeltaV Our Culture & Commitment to You: At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
