Utilize equipment such as functional gages, calipers, micrometers, depth gages, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to perform inspections and measurements. Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials while clearly communicating reasons for rejection. Perform dimensional layouts on sample components to support supplier tooling approval processes and document inspection findings. Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to production teams to help bring products into specification. Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Materials, and Production teams to investigate and resolve quality concerns. Support Lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives to promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Maintain accurate quality records and communicate inspection results effectively across teams. ### Who You Are You build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. You take ownership of your work, follow through on commitments, and contribute positively to a team-focused environment. ### For This Role, You Will Need High school diploma, GED, or demonstrated ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations at a high school level. Ability to accurately use precision measuring instruments, including functional gages, calipers, micrometers, and depth gages. Ability to interpret measurements and compare results against specifications and engineering requirements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members across functions. Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow all safety requirements. ### Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Associate degree in any field. Experience operating and programming a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). Knowledge of metallurgical properties, materials, or related coursework. Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, routings, and inspection documentation.
