Interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to set up and weld components using appropriate fixtures and tooling. Perform MIG welding on a variety of production parts and assemblies. Operate hand grinders and other finishing tools as required. Conduct ongoing visual inspections of workpieces and fixturing to ensure compliance with quality standards and appearance requirements. Identify and communicate quality, safety, or process concerns to appropriate team members. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate effectively with team members to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives. Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies. Perform other duties as assigned. ### Who You Are You consistently deliver high-quality work by paying close attention to detail and ensuring accuracy in everything you do. You are open to learning new skills, adapting to changing priorities, and continuously improving your performance and the quality of your work. ### For This Role, You Will Need High School Diploma, GED, or demonstrated ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations at a high school level. Experience performing MIG welding in a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to read, interpret, and apply welding symbols and blueprint requirements. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively within a team environment. Ability to stand for extended periods during a work shift. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. ### Working Conditions Typical shop floor environment with possible exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, heat, cold, noise, vibration, oil, and water. Employees may be exposed to one or more of these conditions while performing their job responsibilities. ### Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Associate degree, technical diploma, or certification from a welding, manufacturing, or skilled trades program. AWS (American Welding Society) Certification. Knowledge of metallurgical properties, welding processes, or related coursework. Advanced MIG welding experience within a production or manufacturing environment.
