We have designed, built, operated, and maintained mechanical systems for a wide variety of clients, including hospitals, data centers, manufacturers, financial institutions, universities, office buildings, and more. ### Job Summary About Us: Founded in 1999, eTEC Mechanical is a full-service mechanical contractor providing engineering, installation and maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, piping and fire protection systems. We provide diverse mechanical services to meet our customer’s needs, ranging from engineering and installing heating and cooling systems to maintaining and troubleshooting commercial/industrial HVAC and fire protection systems. eTEC’s mission is to provide commercial and industrial HVAC, plumbing, piping and fire protection systems for customers who need a single source mechanical contractor. We are the only mechanical service provider in central Virginia able to efficiently provide professional in-house engineering, installation and maintenance for HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems to the commercial and industrial market. ### Job Title Service Plumber Job Summary: The service plumber will maintain and service all types of plumbing fixtures and components. Pay Range- 30.00 to 40.00 per hour Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain and repair broken pipe and clogged drains. Assembles and installs valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of iron, steel, brass, Ability to work on several pipe systems including water, steam, and waste. Repairs include but are not limited to water heaters, water tanks, garbage disposal units, and leaky faucets. Must be able to attain backflow certification. Operate a drain camera. ### Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. 7+ years of experience as a plumbers mechanic in commercial or light industrial settings. Prior supervisory experience is a plus, but not required. Ability to use power tools and equipment commonly used in the construction trade in a safe manner.
