Visit dsv.com and follow us on LinkedIn and Facebook. ### Location USA - Lancaster, Midpoint Dr Division: Air & Sea Job Posting Title: Tender Specialist, Air Time Type: Full Time Summary The Tender Specialist is a strategic role in DSV, focused on managing and optimizing the tender process for the company. This position plays a critical role in developing pricing strategies, responding to requests for proposals (RFPs), and ensuring competitive positioning in the market. ### Duties and Responsibilities Lead the process of responding to tenders and requests for proposals (RFPs) specific to Air freight. Analyze customer requirements and collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive responses. Develop and implement air pricing strategies aligned with company goals and market trends. Conduct competitive analysis to ensure the competitiveness of pricing structures. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor pricing. Provide insights and recommendations based on market research. Collaborate with sales, operations, and other departments to create compelling and competitive proposals. Ensure accuracy and completeness in all tender submissions. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers. Engage with clients to understand their needs and tailor proposals accordingly. Participate in contract negotiations with clients to secure favorable terms. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance. Analyze historical data and trends to optimize pricing models. Provide data-driven recommendations for pricing adjustments. Prepare and present regular reports on tender performance, win/loss analysis, and pricing effectiveness. Monitor and report on market and competitor activities. Educational background / Work experience Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, logistics, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tender management, marketing, or pricing ### Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of logistics and transportation industry dynamics. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills. Proficient in market research and competitive analysis. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Negotiation skills and experience in contract negotiations. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis. Function / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Processes Supervisory Responsibilities (if any) This position may involve leading cross-functional teams during the tender process. ### Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in business administration or a related field. Certification in pricing strategy or logistics. Previous experience with tender management software. Language skills Fluent in English (oral and written) Computer Literacy Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with tender management software and data analysis tools. At Will Employment DSV Air & Sea Inc. employees are hired for an undefined period of time as “at will” employees. For this position, the expected base pay is: $51,000 - $69,000 / Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, geographic location and other objective business considerations.
