### Job Summary

Dominion Energy's Bear Garden Power Station in New Canton, VA is seeking a motivated Instrument Technician Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting power station operations and maintenance activities. Working alongside experienced technicians, the intern will assist with the inspection, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation used to monitor and control plant equipment. The intern will support preventative maintenance activities, collect and analyze data, participate in equipment inspections, and assist with projects related to instrumentation and control systems.

This position provides valuable exposure to power generation equipment, plant operations, and industrial maintenance practices while developing technical and professional skills in a safe and team-oriented environment. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
- Currently enrolled and pursuing an Associate's Degree in Instrumentation, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn and apply technical concepts in an industrial environment.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn.

### Education

Requirements Education Level: Currently pursuing and enrolled in an an Associate's degree program in Instrumentation, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field with an expected graduation date in 2028 or 2029. Must have a GPA of 2.5 or above. Working Conditions Confined spaces Up to 25% Dust / Grease / Oil Up to 25% Fumes Up to 25% Heat Up to 25% Loud Noise Up to 25% Outdoors 51-75% Test Description No Testing Required Export Control Certain positions at Dominion Energy may involve access to information and technology subject to export controls under U.S. law.

### What You'll Get Hourly Rate

$22.00 - $24.00 The hourly rate listed is the rate we anticipate paying for this position.

If a range is listed, the actual hourly rate offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate's degree type, academic major, and/or school classification (e.g., sophomore, junior, senior).
