At this time, Dominion Energy cannot transfer or sponsor a work visa or employment authorization for this position. ### Job Summary North Anna Power Station (Nuclear) located in Mineral, VA is looking for a Mechanical Engineering intern to work in its Component Engineering department for the summer of 2027. Job duties will include: Development of technical documents to evaluate equipment failures and other plant conditions. Evaluation of equipment performance trends including field walkdowns. Development of minor design changes to support station reliability improvements. Support development of major design changes to support long-term station reliability improvements. Support station departments with technical input on a variety of equipment-related concerns. ### Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience - Must be able to follow instructions and be a team player - Must have strong verbal and written communications skills ### Education Requirements - Must be currently enrolled in an ABET accredited Engineering program (Mechanical preferred) at a four-year college or university - Must have an anticipated graduation date of December 2028 or later. If a range is listed, the actual hourly rate offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate's degree type, academic major, and/or school classification (e.g., sophomore, junior, senior).
